I finally got out my bike again! It was a short ride and very enjoyable. Went from Belltown to Magnolia - Discovery Park - Ballard - Fremont and back home.

At the Government Locks (also known as the Hiram M. Chittenden or Ballard Locks),, located between Discovery Park and Ballard), I saw a HUGE leisure boat that was waiting to leave from the ship canal to Puget Sound. It looked like one of Paul Allen's boats.

Total: 14.79mi Bike Ride

08/29/06 Note: I forgot to mention that while I biked through Discovery Park--and the bike path goes very close to the running trail at the southern end of the park--I didn't smell the anything from the sewage treatment plant.
