Map created by GPSVisualizer.com
Tracks:
- 20061222-220126

I'm in Nashville for the holidays. I went for a walk with my family at Edwin Warner Park. I walked for the first mile and a half with the gang and then ran by myself for four more. There was a beautiful sunset this afternoon...

Total: 5.68mi Run

What hoops did you have to jump through to get gpsvizualizer maps embedded into your posts? Blogger doesn't seem to want to allow me to post script tags inside the posts, yet somehow you've done it...

Added my own maps API key and added the body onload directives to the template. Stalled out otherwide.

BTW, awesome idea to document your runs this way!

It took me many hours to figure this one out: take out comments generated by gps visualizer (they start with "//"); compress all code--take out all paragraph marks, etc., because they're read by blogger as separate lines (I use MS Word); put in a timeout function to offset Internet Explorer problems; change your template in blogger so your map loads; and ignore script warning from blogger when you post. If you view the source code of my page that should help you out. I also found a helpful blog that talks about these problems, but I can't find the link. Good luck! -ST
