I ran 3 miles today at a "tempo" pace. In this case, that meant a slow pace with about three fast 1 minute intervals. It was chilly this morning at 9am at Seward Park and I have a feeling that it'll be the same on Sunday. As for the hip, it's not a 100%. I will attempt to finish the marathon, but if it hurts too much I will stop. BTW, I wouldn't recommend doing running under any pain as it can lead to serious injury if one is not familiar with what the body can handle. I think I'll be OK, but like I said, I will stop if I feel that's what could happen to me. On a positive note, I took a picture with my cell phone right before the run: a nice shot of Lake Washington with Mt. Rainier in the background :-).

Total: 3.15mi Run; 271 cal.; 146 lb. (It looks like I've gained about 5 lbs. over the past week; probably a good thing).
