I finally ran a real "tempo" run: a fast interval, followed by a slow one. Today I did that for 10k. It was a tough run and even though I didn't even manage to go under 6:50, I got good times on the fast intervals.

Mile 1: 5:58 min./mi.
Mile 2: 7:38
Mile 3: 6:08
Mile 4: 7:20
Mile 5: 6:06
Mile 6: 8:03
Mile 6-6.2: 6:56

Total: 10k (6.2mi) Run (42:38; 6:52 pace; 725 cal.; 146 lb.)
