I am writing this post one day later than the date shown. Yesterday I went to spin class the second time this week. I think I'd like to keep it at that rate because 1) I want to vary my workouts between biking and running, and 2) I like to exercise outside too.

I decided to set up this blog to keep track of my training regiment using a GPS training watch, the Garmin Forerunner. I run and ride a road bike long-distance for fun (thus the title of this blog is somewhat of an exaggeration :-) and to keep in shape. Most of the maps on this blog were generated by gpsvisualizer.com and are in the Puget Sound area.
