I finally made it to the gym--only the second time this year. I bought new cycling shoes last week: Pearl Izumi Juice, compatible with both SPDs and LOOKs (and SPD-SLs). I got them because the only bike with LOOK pedals at the gym was replaced with SPD pedals. Apparently not enough people (probably mainly myself) were using it and it was left idle during full classes. No problem there. So with the SPD clips on them I went to a spin class and it went very well. A good class and I'm not totally out of shape. I jogged to the gym and back (and the knee felt fine).

Total: 15mi Bike Ride (spin class); 145 lb.
