Today was a good ride - a loop around Lake Washington which I haven't done in a while. I beat my best time by a couple of minutes. Interestingly the elevation range (not shown on map; this one shows speed) was -6 to 723 ft. However, I couldn't find a spot on the map with that elevation color.

The last two miles through downtown Seattle are never enjoyable because there is no bike lane heading NW, whereas there is a street that had a bike lane heading SE (2nd Ave.). I was in the left-most lane on 4th Ave. following the traffic when I heard the car behind me repeadetly honking his horn. I wasn't slowing the traffic down at all as it was only moving at about 15mph. After passing a few intersecting streets the car got in the right lane next to me -- the driver looked at me and was saying something for a few seconds, obviously not very nice. I gave him a finger and for a minute I thought he was going to swerve at me, but ended up speeding up and I dind't see him again. The car was an old 2-door red Plymouth driven by, if I could make a very subjective judgement, a red-neck.

Total: 39.4 mi Bike (16.9mph); 1499 cal.; ??? lb.
